How to accept card payments?

Waiterio allows you to accept card payments both online and in-person.

1. Navigate to the restaurant tab and scroll down until the section Online and POS payments.
2. Click on the legal entity button and enter your business information as either a company or an individual.
3. From the restaurant tab click on the bank account button to provide the checking account coordinates where you wish to receive the payouts for the card payments.

You can accept card payments in-person from your customers using an external POS terminal or a smartphone with Tap to Pay support.

Tap to pay is supported on the iPhone XS from 2018 and newer models. The iOS version installed on the device should be iOS 16.4 or newer.

Tap to pay is supported on many Android devices such as:

• Google Pixel 2 and newer
• Samsung Galaxy A12 and newer
• Samsung Galaxy S10 and newer
• Samsung Note 10 and newer
• Oppo Reno5 and newer
• Oppo Find X3 and newer
• OnePlus 6 and newer
• Xiaomi Redmi 9 and newer
• Xiaomi Poco X4 and newer

You can accept card payments using an external POS terminal. You can order an external POS terminal directly from within the Waiterio app. You will first need to provide your business information as described at the beginning of this guide.

2. Scroll down and click on POS terminals
3. Click on the button buy pos terminal
Online payments

You can accept online payments for delivery and takeaway orders on the Waiterio website generated for your restaurant. You can customize your Waiterio website by visiting the website tab in the Waiterio app.
